The beginner's course will be in two parts as is Bridge, Bidding and Play.
The Bidding Course will start in February and will run for 8/9 weeks. You will receive a Beginners Kit with a notebook, a pen and an excellent reference book which will summarize the lessons covered.
Then later on, we will have a 4 weeks Play Course which will cover methods and strategies, and will enable success in all your bridge contracts.
After each course, experienced players will be supervising the play sessions allowing members to integrate all the techniques and strategies into their game.

We are looking to establish a fun and friendly club following the Australian Bridge Federation rules and etiquette. Green Masterpoints, where applicable, will be awarded for each session and these will be uploaded once a month.
The club will also be running some intermediate lessons on topics such as overcalling, pre-empts, etc, and special topics including 2/1.
2/1 is the new extension to 'Standard' that is capturing a lot of attention for its ability to find better contracts quickly and easily.
Each 3 hour playing and supervised session will be $5.00 ‘Table Money’. This cost is to offset rent and running costs.
The annual Home membership fee is $55.00 or $20.00 for Associate membership if you are already a member of the ABF.
